Day 1: Cape Town
Guests are met upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport from where the day is spent exploring one of the worlds most beautiful cities. We visit Table Mountain, where a cable car ride to the top of the mountain reveals breathtaking views of the Cape Peninsula. After descending the mountain visits are made to the Parliament Gardens and Cape Castle before retiring to the overnight destination situated on Cape Towns famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront.

Day 2: Cape Town
After breakfast we make our way to the Royal Cape Golf Course for a round on South Africa's oldest golf course. With lovely views of Table Mountain from most holes, this championship course offers a beautiful setting that will make your visit memorable. Royal Cape Golf Club is a true championship course having hosted the South African Open no less than eleven times and the SA Amateur Championships eight times. The most recent SA Open held here was in 1996 and was won by Ernie Els. The round of golf is followed by some time for lunch, after which the tour makes its way back to the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront where the late afternoon is spent relaxing.

Day 3: Cape Town
The Erinvale Golf Course is situated at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains and is the site for the mornings game. A Gary Player Design, the course boasts an impressive setting which takes in views of the surrounding mountain ranges and False Bay in the distance. It has hosted the World Cup of Golf and is frequently rated one of the finest courses in South Africa. The round of golf is followed by visits to two of the nearby wine estates where guests can sample some of South Africa's finest wines and enjoy the rich history and superb architecture on display.

Day 4: Cape Town
We trace the Indian Ocean coast and traverse the towns of Rooi Els and Betties Bay en route to Kleinmond, and the Arabella Golf Course. During the months of June to November the waters are frequented by the Southern Right Whale, and stops will be made at different vantage points from where these regal creatures can be spotted. Outside whale season the drive, of about one hour and fifteen minutes, is still one of the countries most scenic.
The Arabella course will challenge both novices and professionals alike, as this masterful Peter Matkovich layout is played. It is bordered by the Kleinmond Lagoon, and much care has been taken to ensure the course blends in well with the natural surroundings. We make our way back to Cape Town during the late afternoon after a short stop in Hermanus, which is situated on the shores of Walker Bay.

Day 5: Winelands
Atlantic Beach Golf course is the focus of a morning round. This Links, which is situated on the West Coast, reveals magnificent examples of Cape Fynbos and will present a challenge, especially on windy days when it will be necessary to use the firm turf to play low running shots under the wind. The tour then makes its way to the South African wine producing area, and the magnificent Lanzerac Hotel, where the late afternoon is spent at leisure

Day 6: Winelands
We devote the day to the town of Stellenbosch and the Stellenbosch wine route. The town is the oldest in South Africa after Cape Town, and is undoubtedly the most scenic and historically-preserved town in Southern Africa. Oak-lined streets next to water furrows compliment the many fine examples of elegant Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian architecture - all part of this unique "Town of Oaks".
The town, ideally situated in a magnificent mountain valley, boasts a mild Mediterranean climate. The Stellenbosch Wine route is the oldest, largest and probably the most visited of the Southwest Cape’s wine routes. Many of the estates are very old; their gabled, whitewashed Cape Dutch Homesteads, rolling vineyards and shade-dappled grounds lovely beyond measure. We visit three of these fine estates, where the art of wine making in South Africa is experienced first hand. A large variety of cultivars can be sampled and a specific cultivar, which appeals to your palette, is sure to be found

Day 7: Garden Route
After breakfast the tour travels to the Coastal City of Mossel Bay, where we begin our Garden Route tour. It is here where the Portuguese explorer Bartholomew Dias set foot on shore in 1488 and we dedicate some time to visiting the museum which bears his name. The museum stands not far from the Milkwood Tree and fountain which served respectively as a post office and watering hole to sea seafarers in centuries past. A short drive then brings guests to the George Station where they board the Outeniqua Choo-Tjoe. The Choo-Tjoe is the very last of the scheduled South African steam railway services and it plies between George and Knysna daily.
The Choo-Tjoe starts its journey from George and puffs its way through Victoria Bay, over the Kaaiman’s River Bridge, through Wilderness and over the Goukamma Valley before descending to Knysna. Some dramatic scenery, which bring to life the grandeur of the garden route, enjoyed by a means of travel which remind one of a gentler and more romantic age, is sure to make this an unforgettable experience. Guests are met at Knysna Station from where they are transferred to the overnight destination.

Day 8: Garden Route
We Tee off at the Fancourt Links Course after breakfast. The Links at Fancourt hosted a very successful Presidents Cup in 2003 and has since become one of South Africa’s most highly rated and sought after courses. A man made Links, the course is difficult and it would be prudent to carry some additional balls. Gary Player has ensured an almost perfect balance between hazards , length and shot value. The course has been compared favorably with some of Scotland’s finest links courses and the morning round is sure to be the highlight of your 10 day Western Cape Golfing Experience. The afternoon is spent at leisure.

Day 9: Garden Route
After a leisurely breakfast guests head to Pezula and devote the afternoon to playing this course. Pezula is situated high above the Indian Ocean on one of Knysna’s famous heads . A relatively new course, utmost care has been taken in the design, to ensure a great golfing experience on a site which couldn't be more perfect. The round of golf is followed by some time for lunch after which the tour crosses the Knysna Lagoon by Ferry to the Featherbed Nature Reserve. A unique 150 ha private Nature Reserve which encompasses the entire Western Head of Knysna with spectacular views across the Lagoon and the ocean as well as the treacherous passage between the two which claimed many a ship during Knysna's days as an exporter of timber. The reserve is one of South Africa's heritage sights and is one of the highlights of the Garden Route tour. It is home to two of the Garden Route's icons, namely the Knysna Loerie and the Blue Duiker, one of Africa's smallest antelope species. We return to Fancourt during the late afternoon.

Day 10: Garden Route
A morning round of Golf is enjoyed at the Fancourt Outeniqua.This Gary Player designed course was named after the Mountain Range which forms the barrier between the Garden Route and the Little Karoo. A parkland course which takes in beautiful scenery , the Outeniqua is sure to reward both experienced players as well as novices.

Day 11: Garden Route
A drive of about 15 minutes bring guests to Oubaai. Ernie Els, 3 times Major Championship Winner, who designed the course, has placed Oubaai as his favorite course in the world. The golf course, a Links layout, has veld grasses lining the lush fairways and greens. The elements, predominantly the wind, play a role in the defenses of this coastal golf course. After the morning round and some time for lunch guests are transferred back to Fancourt.

Day 12: Pretoria
After breakfast guests are transferred to Durban Airport for a flight to Johannesburg. Guests are met at Johannesburg International Airport from where they are transferred to the Lombardy, situated on the eastern outskirts of Pretoria. During the evening guests are invited to a traditional South African BBQ with their hosts.

Day 13: Pretoria
Tee off is at the Silver Lakes Country Club, situated a stones throw from the hotel. Bushveld scenery and a challenging course are the main features of this 18-hole championship golf course. Boasting the innovative design of two of South Africa’s top golf course designers, namely Peter Matkovich and Dale Hayes, it is sure to be a rewarding experience. As the name implies, an eight-hectare lake is surrounded by many smaller lakes and water features, attracting a variety of waterfowl and other indigenous bird life which provide a backdrop of natural birdsong.
The afternoon leads the group to the east of Pretoria and the village of Cullinan, where the world's largest Diamond was discovered in 1905.This great diamond weighed in at an amazing 3106 carats in the rough and was transformed, by the Asscher Brothers in Amsterdam, to the magnificent stones which grace the British Crown Jewels. A tour of the mine sheds some light on the process by which these most noble of the earths stones were formed, under great pressure and heat millions of years ago, and on the way in which man extracts them from the earth and shapes them into the desirable objects they become in the jewelry stores of the world.

Day 14: Sun City
The road leads west past Hartebeestpoort Dam, set beneath the protection of the Magaliesberg Mountains, en route to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The reserve is situated a stone's throw from the Sun City Resort and encompasses an area of fifty five thousand hectares of unique geology, which includes the eroded remains of a long extinct volcanic crater. The reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife, not least being the Big Five. The game drive is interpretive in nature and the knowledge of the guide is sure to enhance the experience, with unique insight into the habits and behavior of the different species which grace this area. Thereafter a short drive will lead to the entertainment resort of Sun City.

Day 15: Sun City
Tee off early at the Gary Player Country Club, made famous by the Nedbank Golf Challenge, which it hosts annually. The Sun City golf course lies amidst beautiful nature and is regarded as one of the best in the world. Stretching over more than 7000 meters, it definitely is one of the world's longest golf courses. All 18 holes can be classified as difficult. There are plenty of bunkers and water hazards, in the shape of rivers and dams. The par five ninth, with its island green, is sure to be amongst the most spectacular. The course is both challenging and rewarding. The afternoon is spent at leisure.

Day 16: Sun City
Tee off is at the Lost City course during the morning. The Lost City Golf Course is an 18-hole desert-style golf course, with spectacular views across the bushveld. Unique to this 72 par course are the 38 real crocodiles at the 13th hole, making this one of the most unusual golf resorts in the world, let alone in Africa! The golf course covers more than 100 hectares and incorporates 28 000 square meters of water features. The afternoon is spent at leisure.

Day 17: Greater Kruger National Park
Guests are met at Sun City after breakfast from where they are transferred to Johannesburg for a charter flight bound for the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. The reserve is home to most of South Africa's finest Game Lodges and forms part of the world renowned Greater Kruger National Park. The afternoon is devoted to a first open 4X4 safari in this magnificent wilderness area.

Day 18: Greater Kruger National Park
The day is devoted to two open 4X4 safaris in search of Africa's legendary Big Five. The safaris are led by an experienced ranger, whose intimate knowledge of the habits and behavior of the different animals is sure to add to the enjoyment of the experience. A bush walk is also conducted during the day, giving guests the opportunity to come into close contact with some of the plains game species while on foot.

Day 19: Greater Kruger National Park
A sky colored gloriously by the rising sun greets guests on an early morning game drive, admiring the antelope of Africa as they ready themselves for a day of grazing or browsing after the nervousness of night, when they are at their most vulnerable to the many predators in the area. Highlights of the day are sure to include sightings of one of the Big Five. The Rhino, Lion , Leopard, Buffalo and Elephant received this well known collective name in times past when the first European Hunters in Africa regarded them to be the most dangerous animals on the continent. A game drive conducted during the late afternoon and early evening could offer the opportunity of spotting one of the Big Cats, readying themselves for the hunt. Both the Leopard and Lion are nocturnal and would mostly be more active during this period of the day.

Day 20: Malelane Sun
The ever-changing moods of this land will capture your soul as the day is once again devoted to exploring this wilderness area from the back of open 4X4 vehicles or on foot during the bush walk. The lesser creatures of the land, though not as well known contribute as much to the ecosystem. Great delight can often be had from witnessing these creatures as they go about their daily routines. All life and the delicate balance that exists between them is protected in this area which is a treasure over which we should be wise custodians.

Day 21: Departure
After a morning spent at leisure, guests are transferred to Kruger Mpumalanga Airport for a flight to Johannesburg, where they are met and assisted with transferring to an international flight back to their country of origin. A South African golfing experience never to be forgotten should make the flight more tolerable.
