San Lameer |
Situated on the coast south of Durban - the Capital City of the Kwa Zulu Natal Province - San Lameer has a unique climate. It offers almost 12 months of summer, some months only being slightly cooler than others.
Conservation is high on the agenda of the San Lameer Master Home Owners Association. More than 195 different bird species have been identified, with various other indigenous fauna species being present. The Indian Ocean is the eastern border of this haven, where the warm Mozambique current ensures good swimming conditions.
San Lameer has become one of the premier holiday destinations on the south coast due to the high level of privacy and seclusion. On offer is an 18-hole golf course with a hotel and restaurant. Facilities for other sports lovers are also on the premises.
The Lagoon Restaurant has a commanding view of the lagoon and swimming pool. The restaurant prepares wonderful buffet style meals.
Light snacks and a bar service are on offer on the sundecks.
