Situated on the coast south of Durban - the Capital City of the Kwa Zulu Natal Province - San Lameer has a unique climate. It offers almost 12 months of summer, some months only being slightly cooler than others.

More than 195 different bird species have been identified, with various other indigenous fauna species being present. The Indian Ocean is the eastern border of this haven, where the warm Mozambique current ensures good swimming conditions.
