Golf Courses Cape Town
Cape Town and its surrounds offer golfers some of the finest courses and settings to be enjoyed anywhere in the world. From Links style courses bordering the Atlantic to Parkland courses with sweeping views of mountain scenery and lush vineyards.
Garden Route
A temperate climate, scenically impressive mountain views and the inviting waters of the Indian Ocean endow this area with a unique characteristic, which has made it very popular with leading golf course developers. Some exceptional new have been established during the past few years.
Gauteng
The economic heartland of South Africa is not blessed with the same scenery as the Cape and Garden Route. It does however offer golfers some magnificent parkland courses which will challenge the game of players at all levels. Some of these courses have hosted the South African Open on numerous occasions.
Kwa Zulu Natal
A sub tropical climate and lush vegetation make the Kwa Zulu Natal coastal area an inviting golf tour and golfing destination throughout the year. The Drakesnberg area with its magnificent scenery is probably best played in spring, summer and autumn.
Mpumalanga
Mpumalanga is best known for it's dramatic eastern escarpment and the Big Five areas in, and around, the Kruger National Park. These fine attractions, on a golf tour, combine well with excellent courses, to make the area an unforgettable golfing destination.
North West
The North West Province was put on the international golfing map by the establishment of the Gary Player Country Club in the 1980's and the subsequent annual Nedbank Golf Challenge, which is hosted on the course.
